Holding out for a Greek heroβ¦
You know how it usually goes. You read the book, you fall so in love with the leading man and then they make the film andβ¦ eww, who did they choose to play your book boyfriend?! Heβs not right at all! In your head he was taller, fitter, extra sexyβ¦ Disappointing!Β
But, what happens when youβve written the book, they actually make the film and you could not be happier with the actor theyβve chosen?!Β

Meet Rafael Kariotakis! Heβs the actor who plays my hero, Theo Pappas in the Hallmark Original movie A Greek Recipe for Romance that was adapted from one of my novels! Heβs oh-so handsome with that dark hair, those light eyes and the perfect persona for the job! It was like I hand-picked him myself!
When you have a book taken to screen itβs REALLY exciting, but thereβs always those moments when you wonder if you are going to recognise your characters in the finished product. No one knows the characters like the author, or the authorβs readers! And, OK, Rafael doesnβt have Theoβs man-bun from the book, but Movie Theo definitely has Book Theoβs other attributes β his fierce determination to prove his father wrong, his desire to create a legacy in honour of his mother, his kind and caring nature when it comes to Abby and her future, that sizzling Greek sexinessβ¦
For me, Rafael was the perfect choice, but, why not decide for yourself! Find out more and watch A Greek Recipe for Romance on the Hallmark Channel. https://www.hallmarkchannel.com/a-greek-recipe-for-romance
